I am MJ Blehart. I have been writing fantasy and sci-fi since I was 9 years old. The written word is my medium, and being an author is my first love.

In March of 2010, I finally published my first story in an anthology called Rum and Runestones. Soon after that, my second short story was published in a follow-up anthology called Spells and Swashbucklers. Both anthologies are loaded with tales of pirates and magic.

I began to self-publish my works not long after this, and determined the time had come to share The Source Chronicles with the world, and published Seeker.

My background

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. My parents exposed me to Star Wars at the impressionable age of 5, and I’ve been creating fantastic galaxies of space travel and adventure or worlds of swords and sorcery most of my life.

I attended Ithaca College from the Fall of 1991 til May 1995, when I graduated with a BA in Drama, having also minored in Art History and Audio Production. After getting my mostly useless degree in theatre, I decided to stay on the East Coast, and relocated to New Jersey, where I’ve bounced from job to job before pursing my passion as a writer.

I publish non-fiction, self-help/inspirational/motivational articles to my blog, The Ramblings of the Titanium Don, twice a week. Daily I also am the author of articles on Medium.com.

I am currently a resident of southern New Jersey, where I live with my wife and two feline overlords.
